(TF2/64bit) Random 2 seconds stutters

i rarely get 1 to 2 second stutters while playing

specs:

AMD Ryzen 5 3600x

48 GB corsair 3200 mhz ddr4

MSI Radeon RX 570 ARMOR 8G OC

im on the newest drivers, im free of bloatware since i got this pc from my friend after he reinstalled windows and cleaned everything

Try verifying your game files it has helped with this stutter issue for me. Its a possible issue with old sound.cache files.

sadly didnt work for me, ill try using the vulkan api and see if that changes anything

i have a similar problem: if in pvp after the update i started to have fps drops, then in mvm i now have small freezes literally every second and i can't aim anymore, although pvp is also barely playable for me now even with low mastercomfig preset

i forgot to update on this, vulkan makes it even worse, story of the day, dont use vulkan
