[TF2] Add 1 Week Trade Hold to Golden Pan drops
Because the name of Golden Pan drops are broadcast globally, it is unfortunately common that owners who don’t know any better get scammed or sharked (term for experienced traders ripping off unknowledgeable owners of expensive items) soon after obtaining their pans. While this could be mitigated by no longer broadcasting a message for drops, thats honestly just a cool feature that shouldnt be removed. Thus, I propose that pans are given a 1 week trade hold after they get dropped similar to items bought off SCM or unboxed with 1 week hold keys. While a hold wouldn’t be a surefire solution to this problem, it should allow time for legitimate buyers and traders to get in contact with the new pan owner and inform them of how to handle the situation. I’d imagine this is a very easy thing to implement too. You could possibly also add a unique alert warning the new owner not to click any suspicious links, add low level profiles with private inventories, be wary of people offering to buy for cash, etc. Experienced traders will usually help the new owner if they can be found in time, and this change should help the holy grail of TF2 drops have a tragic outcome less frequently.
