[TF2] Sprays appear on surfaces that they shouldn't

Hello @theGarbs, are you still experiencing this issue?
I wouldn't count on them coming back, but I can confirm that I have seen this issue plenty of times including since this was posted. It seems to mainly affect displacements and I recall it happens a lot on Badwater. Let's see if I can make it happen again.

Well, that... that's beyond anything I can recall or explain. Should give you enough to go on for now — clearly it has something to do with trying to wrap sprays around corners, even (or perhaps especially) when it probably shouldn't be. Not a major issue (sprays are kind of inherently an eyesore, so it's not that much worse if they bug out sometimes), but I'm not here to tell you what you should and shouldn't try to fix... or at least keep on record for future reference.

This issue is still relevant, and AFAIK applies to all Source 1 games. If the spray size is bigger than the surface under the crosshair, it will duplicate itself on another surface.
