game files turned into links

i had some files from a game i tried to copy into the new folder. went into the old hard-drive and all i found were links with same name(as the original file) its just a blk file used for game which should just contain plain text similar to a lua file.

i dont even know were to start did wine just assumed its a dll file and started creating links or is it proton? also i am kind of worried it spreads or the amount of damage it caused so far

so yea dont know whats going on

the links created seam rater random with pretty much every file linking to a different file /SteamLibrary/steamapps/common/Proton - Experimental/files/lib/wine/i386-windows/winecfg.exe
