Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
I have been playing this game since 2012. Unfortunately I live in country where power outages are frequent. Even though I have a backup system.. its isn't always reliable. I have gotten LP(low priority) a lot of times over the years. Recently a lot, but I have cleared those games. I dont know if mechanics are changed now. But I would like to know why even after playing 20-30 normal games . if i disconnect for more than 5 minutes i get 5 games of low priority straight without any buffer game.. not 2, not 3. but direct 5 .. each and every time. I would just like to know mechanics behind Thank you (Never played Rank games)
Steps for reproducing this issue:
- play a normal game
- Disconnect
- Get 5 games LP
The only way to get rid of low priority is to win the specified number of games.
i think he meant that he get straight to 5 LP games if punished, instead of 1 LP or 3 LP games, just like if you fail to ready up you start with 3 min penalty first, then 5 min, 30 min and so on.
was your behaviour score 10K? each conduct summary is 15 games. was there 0 reports and 0 abandons? so perhaps you should be fine to have 1 abandon every 30 games. e.g. first abandon complete 15 games to produce the conduct summary with the 1 abandon. Next 15 games should have 0 abandon. a clean conduct summary. then you can repeat abandon 1 game again and so on. because few weeks ago i got internet issue and receive 1 abandon without penalty at all. got 10K score.
and if i remember correctly, if you have 1 abandon the past 15 games, no matter if you completed 4 out of 5 LP games, the next abandon you start over with 5 LP, even if you completed 5 out of 5 LP games with a win. so perhaps you need 14+15 games with 0 abandon, then you can abandon 1 game in between. let me know if this works for you so I can add it to my notes
just checked 73 games (normal and ability draft) since my last abandoned game.. still get 5 games LP.. behavior score was 10k
