[Linux] Permanent game freeze when copying text in chat window

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Selecting all currently typed text in the in-game chat with CTRL+A and then trying to copy it with CTRL+C freezes the game with no way to recover other than to kill the dota2 process (SIGKILL is necessary by the way). This has the practical implication of not being easily able to copy the rosh timer.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Open Dota 2 + launch into a game (demo mode is enough)
2. Press return to open the chat + type a few characters
3. Press CTRL+A to select all typed text + press CTRL+C to copy
