[Linux] Game fails to load on Patch 7.36

Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

Game worked before update with some issues delaying hero choice screen past pick time. Now it doesn't load hero choice screen, it goes into a blank screen and then returns to main menu with penalty for not loading.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

1. Launch Dota
2. Click Play Dota
3. Click Accept
4. Wait for red play button due to failure to load
