Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:

After launching Dota2 whole system stutters, especially audio. Its impossible to listen to music while playing Dota anymore because of that annoying stuttering audio/performance lags. It affects whole system and any app whether it Spotify or something playing on youtube or in VLC.

Steps for reproducing this issue:

  1. Just start to play any music or open movie/youtube
  2. Notice that there is no audio/performance lags
  3. Open Dota2
  4. Notice that your system started lagging and any kind of sound are stuttering right away

I've muted Dota and started static sound in pipewire settings to check the problem, I've got a screencast of the problem: Stuttering starts and stops right away when I open/close Dota2. This problem started after fix for broken update that caused that bug from November 15 https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota-2/issues/2603 (Failed to create VkSurfaceKHR) 2023-11-25 05-09-50.webm

Replying to https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota-2/issues/2618#issuecomment-1827398635

did you fall and hit your head? in which place did I write that this problem is on Windows?

Fixed stuttering by adding preempt=full key to kernel in grub. That seems to fix everything source https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/pipewire/pipewire/-/wikis/Performance-tuning

Unfortunately previous solution didn't helped. Game search triggered stuttering again If I'm not searching for game - there are no stuttering or lags while I'm boot into system with preempt=full key
