Please describe your issue in as much detail as possible:
The game generally runs fine under Gnome with Wayland (as it does with Xorg), but one difference that I've noticed is that under Wayland, the chat wheel is so sensitive that it is essentially unusable.
I have the same issue, from what I can tell it seems that it doesn't move the mouse to the center and starts from the position where you had the cursor when the chat wheel was opened. So if the cursor is to the left of center the leftmost option is selected as soon as you move the mouse (even if it's moved to the right), and the opposite if the cursor is on the right side.

From my testing, it seems Wayland does not limit the mouse to the center of the chat wheel like on x11. If you move your mouse far to the left, you'll have to move your mouse just as far to the right to compensate.
On x11, even if you move your mouse a whole screen's worth to the left, you only have to move your mouse the width of the chat wheel to reach the options on the right. (this is the expected/correct behaviour)
Just wanted to mention I'm still experiencing this on Wayland/Hyprland
I also have this issue, and can confirm Rynoxx and frryx experience. The chatwheel should use relative position of the mouse.
I'm on fedora 39 with KDE, Wayland.
