🐛 Bug - Copying username for mentions breaks mentions

Describe the bug When a user copies a username of a user they want to mention neither the mention menu appears or the user is not autocompleted

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Copy a username
2. Type @
3. Paste the username
4. Observe that the mention was not completed and the mention menu does not show for manual completion

Expected behavior For the mention to be automatically done or the mention menu to pop up
