Ghost blocks when breaking too fast

I joined a world, gave haste 100 to myself and dug the ground but when I walked through the places I dug, it damaged my hp. I tested this in both singleplayer and multiplayer and I only had valkyrien-skies, vs-control and vs-world installed.

Can you confirm that this is an issue with Valkyrien Skies and not just the base game? This seems like regular ghost block behaviour to me.

Sorry for the late reply. Yes, I can confirm that. I tested this without both mods and forge installed and then without mods but with forge installed and neither caused this. They did create a few ghost blocks but they were normal ones, they didn't let me move through them. When I tested with valkyrien skies installed however, none of the blocks I dug dropped on the ground and I could move freely through where I dug but I took damage in two blocks deep spaces that I dug. They are not exactly like the ghost blocks as the game doesn't prevent me from going through them but since when I used antighost mod and the reveal ghost blocks key made the blocks visible again, I called them ghost blocks.
