HC messes up external xbox one controller driver

Describe the bug With controller manager on, HC seems to do something to the driver or external controller where it will disconnect immediately. Only switching off controller manager, uninstall, reinstall the driver of the dongle under network devices and doing a restart will fix it.

Can confirm this issue persists on 0.20.3.1. Disabling controller management, then uninstall / reinstall driver somewhat fixed it. (Just keeping track of the issue)

I have not been able to reproduce this issue with 0.20.4 for several evenings couch playing and Controller Management on.

Some code was indeed changed recently, will continue to monitor.

After several tries I am unable to reproduce this issue.

I was able to get the controller manager stuck indefinitely with a virtual DS4 in slot one, the built in controller in slot 1 and then hitting connect on the external controller. A HC restart resolved it, drivers were fine.

Managed to reproduce this one, connected my external controller prior to HC start, HC started, controller manager did its thing and I'm no longer able to use my external controller.

Tried to recover, haven't found a way yet.

Recovery, find the wireless device in device manager (Network adapters -> Xbox Wireless Adapter). Remove, Uninstall device, tick attempt to remove driver. Unplug, plug back in, update drivers or wait until its done automatically.

Can confirm this issue still exists on 0.21.0.0 with controller manager on Also with controller management off, HC error window pops up "failed to reorder controllers" on start
