HC to properly detect Magpie upscaled game

Open CasperH2O opened this issue 2 years ago • 3 comments

Currently HC detects the upscaled process as Magpie.exe, resulting in not being able to properly make different profiles for the different games that are upscaled.

Discussion and question with Mapgie developer here: https://github.com/Blinue/Magpie/issues/503

Lossless Scaling does not seem to have this issue.

@Valkirie would the new active process detection you implemented last week or adding Magpie as a platform help for this situation?

I can confirm this issue is still present. Right now the only solution seems to be setting a global profile, or doing your best to match the profile of both the original game and Magpie

While not a fix, the new sub profiles feature mitigates this issue somewhat, allowing for multiple profiles under the same process.
