Enable desktop layout option does not stay enabled

Describe the bug The Enable desktop layout option (in the Controllers section) does not stay enabled when Handheld Companion is closed and reopened.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to Controllers section
2. Click the Enable desktop layout option
3. Close Handheld Companion
4. Open Handheld Companion
5. Go back to Controllers section
6. Notice Enable desktop layout is turned off again

Expected behavior Would like the Enable desktop layout option to remember if it's on or off when Handheld Companion is closed and reopened.
