This is an update issue I think rather than install

As i have said in above linked to issue, i can confirm this to occur on my system too - with install rather than the update as @ gerroon said above:

  • OS: Windows 10 Home Single Language 20H2 x64 bit
  • VSCodium: 1.64.2 and the latest 1.69.2

Unable to install extension 'ms-toolsai.jupyter' as it is not compatible with VS Code '1.64.2'. Unable to install extension 'ms-toolsai.jupyter' as it is not compatible with VS Code '1.69.2'.

This issue seems to be same as the now autolocked issue : https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/issues/819
