Can you confirm the default keymap is properly set? In VSCodium | Preferences | Keyboard Shortcuts image

(I am unable to reproduce on my mac)

Hi, upgraded to the latest version this morning, and it's still the same. Here's a screenshot from Keyboard Shortcuts:

Is there anything I can do to help narrow down what is causing this?

I've got no idea @nicdoye -- we don't mess with anything keymap related.

  1. Confirming (I know the box is checked in the original post) -- integrated terminal shortcut works fine in latest version of Visual Studio Code?
  2. Do you have any keymapping software installed, like Karabiner? Probably wouldn't make a difference if the answer to (1) is Yes
  3. If you remap the shortcut to something completely different, does it work?

Hello, I just had this same issue. Initial setting: Screenshot 2021-08-24 at 14 20 56

For some reason, it seems VSCodium recognises § as ` (backtick), even so that trying ^ + § from my keyboard actually opens up the terminal, and on trying to set the keybinding to use ^ + ` it shows another key code:

Also, no software keymapping here.
