Codium, from App store of Ubuntu, 1.100.33714 version, Open Folder issue

I use Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS.

As described in title I downloaded 1.100.33714 latest/stable version from App, and I encountered the known problem of crashing when is used File>Open Folder.

I downloaded the codium_1.102.14746_ version that instead is working with no error from:

from https://github.com/VSCodium/vscodium/releases LInux>.deb>codium_1.102.14746_amd64.deb

Navigate to the directory where you downloaded the .deb file cd ~/Downloads Install the package sudo dpkg -i codium_1.102.14746_amd64.deb
