Y + p = paste on same line instead of new line

shift Y then p copies the current line but pastes it on the same line instead of a new line under the current line.

To Reproduce Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Shift y to yank full line
2. p to paste under current line

Expected behavior Full line yanked and should be pasted on new line

• VSCode version: 1.72.2

I'm troubled by this as well. However, I'm not facing this problem when copying and pasting in the same file. I'm facing this problem when copying from a file and then pasting to another.

So, the use case is this:

1. In first file, press yy to yank a line
2. Switch to another VSCode window
3. Press p or ]p, both showing the problem

This problem occurs when copying and pasting cross VSCode windows, but not panel splits in a single window.
