Expanded Functionality
I'm talking an Eye UV tool, support for Clothing fitting, even (in the case of the assets manager)a whole section dedicated to JUST clothes and textures. It would be a gradual process to make all of this, but it's still some quality of life stuff that some of us might need.

What is "Eye UV tool" like? I have never edited "Eye UV" so I can't imagine.
Basically, if you want to edit the UV on an Eye object, it'll be hell to try and manually configure each Vertex on the UV to match the shape of the texture. An AI could detect texture shapes, and make the vertices on the UV editor adapt to the texture. Or you could just search up an MMD tutorial on how to edit an eye texture for a better explanation and grip.

Do you know of any add-ons that automate Eye UV editing or Clothing fitting?
(Sorry for the late response ;-;) I don't really think someone has made addons like that yet, so you might just have to do this with the long and hard route. As in releasing alphas and betas of them as a side addon before integrating the finished versions to your full custom toolset. Sorry for any inconvenience that may cause you, but not everyone gets control of the die.
...Or, alternate route, you could allow people to assemble a team to get this done faster.
