Is it possible to create slug from associated data fields?

I was wondering if it could be possible to create slug from associated data fields? I can't success to do it, I guess slug can only be created from entity field.

For example, I got a Product entity which has many author and category and I'd like to create for my Product entity a slug containing authors and categories associated to.
