Enhancement: Check notch position to move control elements to usable display area

Open manuelkue opened this issue 1 year ago • 1 comments

My device has a camera in the top right corner that partly hides the number-button.

Maybe the app could check the cutout position to move the buttons accordingly.

In the following article I've read it's possible via the method getDisplayCutout():

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, my devices only have cutouts in the top center of the screen. I'll definitely look into this issue and test it with some virtual devices.

I’ve released a new update. You can now enable or disable edge-to-edge mode in the settings, which you can access by long-pressing the mode button. If you're on Android 15, there’s also a new "Additional Top Padding" setting that lets you adjust the top padding manually, helping to move buttons away from display cutouts.
