Lava Survival needs a major overhaul.
Lava Survival feels abandoned, it's not complete like MCDzienny, there's no score based on the amount of air around you, not even a scoreboard in the chat showing top scoring players when the round ends, no rewards for winning above or below sea level, and no /ironman or /ironwoman for double money. And I think after these are implemented, make a spawn range and if players are in this "spawn range" they don't win.
And one more improvement is making it possible to change default map settings for all maps for people who don't want to change the water chance or destroy chance and etc on every map, would probably save alot of time.
That may not be all of the missing features but it's good missing features I could come up with at the moment.
This should be fixed, it feels boring and bland.
can agree with this issue, can't even host a tntwars server because of it being subpar and neglected like the rest and no working economy.
make it up to par with zombie survival please?
What makes TNT wars subpar?
let me clarify on that, i mean it isn't exciting as it used to be. i feel it could be improved with more and with an option for randomized gamemodes than just FFA and TDM. i guess i jumped the gun when i found out about this but all that aside, i think LS needs to be gravely improved the most first.

I think TNT Wars is fine for the most part but there are issues I can point out, it doesn't start up when the server first starts even when it's checked. Same goes for added maps too, the list doesn't save on startup.
Ooooppss. Fixed in 5f36cd8fcd4c1623d279fd70c34f23e9899c934f
Another thing about TNT Wars is that it's missing money rewards for rounds. Not sure if it's supposed to be like that, but i would want to see points/damage done by player/winning side the player was on etc. converted into money at the end of a TNT Wars round.
Bump on this. Would be cool to see more stuff added to LS
I've made a possibly incomplete to-do list to implement stuff that MCDzienny has, but not MCGalaxy.
- [ ] Implement map event system, most likely to be similar to MCDzienny
- [ ] Implement leveling system.
- [ ] Add more purchasable items in the store. In addition, on every round you get a set of items based on your current level
- [x] Implement lava moods
- [ ] Implement /ironman
- [ ] Implement scoring system
- [ ] Implement a win streak system
- [ ] Implement /hammer
- [ ] Make sponges, water, doors and teleports finite under LS
- [ ] Add support for a heaven world.
- [ ] Implement tips
- [ ] Implement #611
- [x] Implement #675
This list is based on https://gist.github.com/forkiesassds/fdae6a9c4cbf1f61628c986b477ef847, however I have decompiled MCDzienny, so in case if I forgot something or don't deem it useful then you can find it inside of my decompilation.

I wish you the best of luck with this.
One of my suggestions that may help out in the long run (If nobody was aware of this issue) would be to stop players from doing the exploit of leaving the game and rejoining after they lost all of their lives. Which when they rejoin, they have all their 3 lives back again. I always saw MCG LS as an afterthought and it always kinda bugged me when players mention how lacking it is.

After doing some research, turns out that Lava Survival was like this ever since some version of MCForge. Which means this might've been an issue since 2011-2013.

Well, this flaw is also in MCDzienny, so probably just as old as Lava Survival itself. Which might make it an intended or probably unintended mechanic from the start.
