Possible issue with Nintendo DSi version???
When ever I try to boot up the Nintendo DSi version, it always gets stuck on the screen where it tries to connect to the internet, BUT I am also using an ancient 20+ year old sd card from an equally as old 2002 HP Pocket PC Pro with the sd card only having 256 MB, and the card all-ready mostly filled, plus the TWiLight Menu ++...
I forgot to mention how the Normal Nintendo DS version works perfectly fine, other than the fact I can't log in due to me being on a DSi.
Yea i'm having the same problem, SD card and launch method don't seem to matter...
There's some issue with the networking stack that unfortunately I am unable to reproduce on an emulator to work out what's going wrong.
The DSi download has been pulled from the website to avoid this confusion, although live website hasn't been updated yet
On a physical DSi, with the DSi version of it, I actually get a full-on "ClassiCube fatally crashed" screen (it says it's due to a read/write at invalid memory. Mine doesn't get stuck on connecting to wi-fi though. I can send a photo of the screen if you want to see it). The regular NDS version works fine aside from not being able to download anything and it taking forever to fail each of the downloads.
The DS/DSi builds have been combined into one build and now use a more updated network library that automatically supports DS and DSi wifi hardware. Has that helped?
Yes, I tried it out and it works great! Thank you so much! I've now crossplayed with my PC, 3DS, and DSi.
Works perfectly, thank you.
