Can we switch to .Net ver 6.0?

The assembly targets .Net ver 3.5 by default, there are features in 6.0 that me and one of my students would really love to use in SuperEditor - we've tried a lot of things but can't find a way to change the target since everything is in a .dll

this might fix some of the bug with linux too. right now the plugin is completely broken and unusable on linux.
