Typing in editor is very laggy
Typing in editor is very laggy it takes a second to type each character typing repeatedly while it's lagging throws ..

Yes, it is not very stable on Linux platform. If you change to a higher version of Unity Editor, such as Unity 2021, you may not have similar problems. After I changed to Unity2021, everything is normal, As far as I know, Unity Editor for Linux is not as stable as the Windows platform
Ok I was just trying to stick with a LTS version. I can try it.
@UnitySuperEditor looks like 2021 didn't help at all it just made it worse. :( maybe making a issue about it to the unity devs would help

@UnitySuperEditor Script Inspector 3 and Nice Script Editor all suffer from the lag and character skipping when typing. I think you should find a fix for this or team up with the other script editor dev's and report the issue to unity.
It makes these type of addons completely unusable
