Delay in typing (not a hardware or driver issue)

Typing is slow with up to 20-second delays between typing and letters appearing. It goes approximately like this:

1. I type a word or a sentence (nothing appears in the message window)
2. Up to 20-second delay
3. Typed text appears

Transitions and animations are smooth and uninterrupted. I have a good laptop with 32 gig ram and Intel 7 155h, so it's not a hardware issue. Everywhere else typing is working normally so it's not a driver issue

I've got a similar issue. The typed text radomly lags behind for solid 10-20 seconds. If i send the message tho, it contains all the text even if it wasn't displayed in the input box

Can you try to download this app, search for "RichEditBox" and see if the problem occurs there too?
