Middle options in "keep multimedia" seem to be inaccessible

Steps:

Go to settings, data and storage, storage usage, keep multimedia.
Besides the minor inconvenience of the slider not being labeled, try setting it with the keyboard (page up / down, arrow keys). Only home and end work.

I don't know how this should work. I know there do exist sliders where an arbitrary percentage can be moved with the arrow keys, but I think the ideal solution would be a combo box.

I'm not sure about how to proceed here, so how to properly label the slider when it is used not for numbers but for arbitrary values.

I noticed that "slow mode" in groups also uses a slider. While the labeling problem still exists, in that situation I can use the arrow keys to set middle options. Is this halfway solution doable for the slider to keep multimedia?
