Issues installing gempak-7.14.01 in Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS...

Hi, all!

I am trying to install gempak-7.14.01 in Ubuntu 22.04.5, following this excellent contribution from https://github.com/Unidata/gempak/issues/57#issuecomment-1059547188 .

However, while compiling, some different errors appear and, at the end, after 'make install', I discover that ntl opens, but it presents me different windows informing that executables nmap2, nsharp, nwx, ncolor and ntrans do not exist.

Clearly, the installation was not completed correctly, but I cannot figure out how can I fix this.

Could anyone kindly help me understand why ntl is OK, but not the other tools?

Thanks in advance,

Flavia

You might find the information in #159 helpful.

Dear @sgdecker, thank you so much for your help! After following the instructions from #159, now I can open nmap2 from ntl command.

All fixed by adding -fallow-invalid-boz -fallow-argument-mismatch to the FOPT line in Makeinc.linux64_gfortran_ubuntu.

Full line: FOPT = -fallow-invalid-boz -fallow-argument-mismatch -fno-stack-protector -fno-second-underscore -fno-range-check -fd-lines-as-comments $(GEMINC) $(PYINC) -g -O

Thank you very much indeed!
