Duplicate folders in gallery
Version: v0.5.1 Use alternative images provider: off Phone: Nexus 5 Android version: 6.0.1
With the default settings the application displays some folders more than once in the gallery view.
This issue isn't reproducible when enabling the Use alternative images provider option.
@fuzzmz thre are differences if you open both folder, i mean there are the same images or they are splitted in two folders?
The images are split between the folders. I haven't been able to find the criteria on which they're split so far (like, all gif's go in one folder while regular images go in another), it just seems to be random.
@fuzzmz really strange I'm gonna dig around this. can you please reboot your phone an let me know if there are duplicate folders?
Unfortunately neither rebooting nor clearing the application cache fixes it. Going to fork this and try debugging it locally later tonight. If I find something I'll send over a PR.
Same on my Nexus 5X running N DP5. LeafPic v0.5.2 with default settings. I've got two camera folders where photos are split in between. Reboot doesn't solve the issue. Enabling Use MediaStore Provider fixes this.
It's because you have the same folder on sd card and your phone's memory
@bil-elmoussaoui Has nothing to do with external sd card because Nexus has none.
@ContactFront Ah sorry i didn't saw the phone model. But it's the case here for me when i have the same folder on both (with different images)
It's because app show several mount points
/sdcard/Whatsapp and /storage/emulate/0/Whatsapp etc.
