OctoPrint does not recognize password

After installing octodash, if I want to generate an API key or install a plugin, it asks me to reauthenticate my password. My password for my Pi and OctoPrint are the same, but whenever I put in the password it says it is wrong. This only happens after I install OctoDash. I have tried setting up my server and installing octodash, and installing octodash before my server. Same issue keeps happening.
