Cannot initialise without WiFi

I have OctoPi working nicely with OctoDash. Last week I took my machine with the Pi to give a demo to a small group. Unfortunately the Pi (I think actually OctoDash) hung ('saying 'Initialising') when it couldn't find my WiFi network :-(

I'm not sure why it wanted the network, possibly trying to connect to OctoAnywhere?

There needs to be a way to tell it to skip the WiFi connection attempt, or to just timeout.
