Reproduction steps

  1. Opened cure
  2. Imported a STL file
  3. Sliced STL file
  4. ISSUE: No options in preview and cannot see anything except the model itself

Expected results

It should show me my supports and give a drop down on "Preview" tab for lines and showing layers, supports, etc.

Thanks for the report. The center section of the menubar is missing in your screenshots.
5.8 is 7 versions out of date now. Cura 5.11 has been released. I suggest you install a newer version and see if the problem is resolved.
