Wrongly rendered line if empty layer is present

Open ThomasRahm opened this issue 9 months ago • 1 comments

Cura Version

5.7.1

Operating System

Windows 10

Printer

Ultimaker 2+

Reproduction steps

Slice a models with settings so that there is an empty layer.

Actual results

image The wrong rendered line only occurs after slicing, not if the generated Gcode is imported. Said line is not present in the G-Code. It is a pure graphical issue. It only occurs on the layer without extrusions(145 in this case). Also the whole model is displayed, not just the selected layer range (e.g. 1-145 in this case)

Expected results

That line to (0, 0, 0) should not be present. It is not present if the generated G-code is loaded.

Thanks for the report. I can duplicate this with your project. I have had this occur many times when using "One at a Time" mode, and not very often in "All at Once" mode. When in "One at a Time", the glitch always occurs between two prints at ";LAYER:0". I have never seen it occur more than once in a project. I didn't track "which" two prints. Could have been between 3 and 4 or between 1 and 2. If I can replicate the "One at a Time" version I'll add a project file here.
