On line 22 of poc.html threre is an exception:

Uncaught TypeError: ACTIVEX is not a constructor exploit file:///C:/_MALWARE/CVE-2021-40444-Udyz/poc.html:22 file:///C:/_MALWARE/CVE-2021-40444-Udyz/poc.html:73

It could be something related to https://stackoverflow.com/questions/10107198/javascript-not-a-constructor-exception-while-creating-objects ???

This exception was caught while using EDGE, but also occurred with CHORME and FIREFOX.
