Install failure

Well, I've registered and downloaded 1.0. But every time I try to install it, I get this error.

I've tried this on 7 different pc's. Downloading it 7 different times.

Any ideas? TIA.

Hi @Nondisclosure, any common denominator across those PC's? Like the version of windows?

@LeoHere is there anything special about the install process; registry settings, special files created. etc.?

I noticed, using WinRAR, I can pull out everything and run it.

There is nothing special in the installation process.

Did you managed to actually run Gorilla and signin?

Can you provide more details about to version of windows on which you are installing it?

@LeoHere I figured it out.

There's 2 options on the first install screen. I choose the "install for everyone on the computer" choice. I would get the usual UAC warning, click yes, then it would go a little and that's when you get the error.

I just tried on another clean system but this time I chose to install only for the currently logged in user. It worked like a charm.

I can log into it in both cases.

FYI: Version 1.2.2 on 05nov2018... When I install "For Everyone on this PC" - it completes without error but doesn't run, and does seem to really exist on the PC. When I install "Just for me" then it seems to fully install and I can run it per the instructions.

So basically the same behavior as @Nondisclosure above, months earlier.
