D-W headloss options

Open BlomTbl opened this issue 4 years ago • 5 comments

I know that at the moment it not is possible to use the WNTRSimulator with models whet Darcy is used as headloss calculations, but all the moddels we used has a D-W roughness value. I would like to use the options available with the WNTRsimulators. Is there a schedule when this will be possible?

Right now, we don't have plans to support the D-W roughness coefficient in the WNTRSimulator. We can leave this ticket open to see if there is wider interest to support this feature. Are you able to use the EpanetSimulator for your analysis?

This works for most analyzes, but I would like to use WNTR to simulate pipe leaks.

Would be much appreciated if the more accurate D-W headloss model option will be introduced in WNTRsimulator directly.

Agreed. Looking forward to the updates.

D-W headloss would indeed be very useful for leak simulations. I am wondering if there has been any updates in this regard. Many thanks
