Dock icon is low-res and distorted upon load of application

The icon on the macOS dock looks distorted and low-resolution when the application is open.

Using Tero Subtitler alpha - Mac 10.11.6.

I'm assuming this is a macOS problem, but I'd appreciate if users on other OS could check.

Looks good in my LXQT task bar... although I use only 1920x1080 screen resolution... I would say Mac above has 2x that much resolution...
