wierd i dont get this on windows 11 but have had crashes randomly
I get this error when returning to main screen, In some cases loading a save will do the same thing. I do not get this error on 2.5.2 I have even removed/disabled all other mods except for the ones bundled with ue4ss 3.0, as well as all pak files for palworld. I have also set the settings to turn off console altogether and use dx11 as opposed to opengl for ue4ss 3.0, to no avail. As such I currently have 2 win64 directories, (win64 and win64-u3) one for 3.0 while waiting for fixes, and the other for what currently works I thought initially it was my save data, which is why i made a new world, with no mods, and "easy" settings, crashed immediately upon hitting "return to title"
Will wait patiently for more information/suggestions, and will update with more info when needed.
EDIT: @UE4SS I'll do that as soon as I can EDIT2: This may sound dumb, but where is the dmp file supposed to be? Edit3: My stupid self thinks he found it, Here's the generated code

UEMinidump.dmp Used the "view directory" in the crash page, I hope that's the right file.
Can the people with this problem download the zDEV version of 3.0 and upload the generated .dmp file after it crashes ?
Ok so I had exactly the same issue and installed the zDEV version and it didn't crash. It only seems to only crash for me with the release version. I haven't installed any mods and have never installed this before as I've not modded anything on steam before. I installed both versions exactly the same way.

If it generates a .dmp file, it might still be useful if you share it. I have doubts around the non-dev version because we don't include the PDB and there may be problems if I recompile the 3.0 release version from source with the debugger detecting that my newly generated PDB is correct for the official 3.0 release.
It doesn't seem to have created one. I can't find one.
What version of UE4SS did you use exactly ? My debugger isn't recognizing the dll from regular 3.0.0 or zDEV-3.0.0. I'm going to need you to upload your UE4SS.dll.
Im having the same issue. Ill try downloading the zDEV version.
I'm having the same issue, I tried using the zDEV but it didn't work for me. UEMinidump.dmp
For me, it seems to be random what happens:
- The game freezes for up to 10 minutes, then goes back to the title screen as expected (most common)
- The game crashes (least common)
- The game returns to the title screen right away, like normal
Same issue here. Ditto tried the zDEV and crashing. Previous version was working just peachy. Stripped out all mods, still crashing. Cheers thanks for any help UEMinidump.dmp
I uninstalled the game, removed everything leftover. It runs unmoded. Gunna see what happens when I re-add the this, and subsequent mods.
Found the issue for some reason Both Hungry Pal Rescuer & Stuck Pal Rescuer were the culprit. Crashed things to the point where I had to uninstall everything and delete everything left over.
So I downloaded the zDev version and now the problem is gone.
I've been unable to get any of these .dmp files to work. There's always some missing file, and this shouldn't be the case. The name of these .dmp files (UEMinidump) also suggests that these are not being generated by UE4SS because our dmp files have a different name.
