Docs copyright year is out of date (recent trend in open-source projects/docs adopted by curl & soon spack among hundreds of others in 2023)

The copyright years for the docs page currently says 2014 - 2020, which is out of date.

Considering the ongoing/continuous maintenance burden to keep updating the copyright year, I wonder if it is perhaps better to simply omit the copyright years.

I recently read this blog post titled "TIL: You Can Stop Updating Copyright Attribution Years", which is the reason I propose dropping the year altogether. There is also a slightly expanded blog post which alludes to a legal backing for this (based on the Berne convention) by the author of curl here: https://daniel.haxx.se/blog/2023/01/08/copyright-without-years/

As the biggest motivator for us to do this, curl has already dropped the copyright year entirely from their project! Also, spack is following suit soon. Happy to submit a PR based on the team members' thoughts on this if a consensus can be reached.
