anonymity vs. pseudonymity

many people fear for their privacy - i think that makes it harder to be successful for a project that depends on official epass and creates only pseudonymity against passport-issuing institutions, not anonymity. Still i see the pontential for UBIC (or a fork of UBIC) to become more relevant in the future.
