Spectrum analyser selected portion captions
Sorry new to this I am used to subtitle edit and it having the captions on the selected portion on the spectrum analyser I know you can have the captions in karaoke mode but can you add a toggle option to be able to have the captions in the spectrum analyser without needing to turn on karaoke mode if it were possible I could just abandon subtitle edit entirely
can you give some screenshot examples? i can make aegisub to make some static frequency spectrum like this.
One is turning karaoke mode on in aegisub so I can see the dialogue alongside the waveform the other is in subtitle edit where it is automatically on the waveform of the selected dialogue
can you explain me how you use it for your workflow? it's new to me. i would love to know how people do things.
Just out of curiosity, how does this functionality serves any benefit for you? Aegisub is of course open for suggestions, but the general stances is that a functionality needs to be proved to be useful to many does it get included. Otherwise, highly specific customization for each user would crammed the UI.

If he mean "selecting a temporary audio part so it can be heard correctly", that could help with translation by allowing users to focus on just listening the part they are not sure.
