double clicking in just video preview for quick {\pos} to current line is so useful. could you guys go beyond that and you can drag it too? it'll be super helpful when doing typesettings. thanks.

Use the "Drag Subtitle" mode on the left. Hotkey S

holding S don't actually drag subtitles. i actually mean double click and just moving mouse for easier control.

holding S don't actually drag subtitles.

Click into video, press S (default keybinds), you should have the position anchors appear (as in @seproDev's video). You can then drag the anchor to move the line wherever you want. If for some reason this keybind doesn't work for you, you can just click the button to the left of the video:

If I understand @amanosatosi correctly, they mean being able to double-click when using the cross tool (which will set the position) and keep holding left click to then drag the line around afterwards. If so, that sounds like a sensible suggestion to me. (But be aware that development on new features is on hold until I'm done migrating the existing features.)
