Show date of selected day instead of the present day

Open cbiere opened this issue 8 months ago • 2 comments

When looking at the weather forecast for a day in the future, the header shows still the date of the present day. I don't think that's a bug but assume it just means "forecast information as of this date and time".

However, it confuses me everytime and it becomes even more confusing if you share a screenshot with someone. I would appreciate, if the header showed the date corresponding to the selected day instead of present date.

The screenshots highlight that different days seemingly have the same date: Image

This is correct. The "subtitle" date shows when the weather data was last updated. I do agree that it can be confusing. I'll keep this issue open as I think of potential solutions

Perhaps it is possible to enter the date in dd.mm.yy notation instead of the day of the week in the title.

You could also write the date of the update with a short text in front of it.

updated on:

Or you could make a new cardView at the very end with data updated on:
