-error that appeared when setting up the README polished example using {brochure} package, -was repeatedly being printed to the console from RStudio IDE, an interactive brochureApp() session

Hi @jjfantini . thanks for reporting this issue. Yes, if you could provide a reprex that would be ideal. I've been meaning to try out {brochure} so I'm interested to see the reprex.
