Feature Request: make it an advanced option to expand maximum size of the database and max cache size

I'm not sure if part of the limitations is due to API rate limits from Twitter (in which case it could be an option only for users who use their own API key), but generally I feel phone performance has improved enough so that 500 tweets/500mb arent that high of a limit anymore. Especially since the currently the app loads about 200 tweets at once, which sometimes interferes with the limit of 500 after loading more multiple times

I think it should be converted to a "keep timeline for a certain number of days" limit. maybe this would also help with the "load more" button that pops up in the timeline but is broken outside of a small window (iirc something about 12h backwards)

Yes, this seems to be an outdated optimization feature. A "keep for a certain number of days" limit is more intuitive, we could just display the size of the database & provide the operation (Whether to clean the database) to users.

but seriously, it would be great if you could hotfix the current limit, waking up and refreshing the timeline after 10 hours only for the app to stop loading in more tweets after 8 hours because it reached the limit is extremely frustrating. If I wanted to miss out on tweets I could just use the official app (or TweetDeck since the 2017 "update")

I tried to edit the settings outside the apps settings menu, but so far it seems to be ignored and still leave nasty gaps in the timeline.

I tried creating a list with only a subset of my follows to get around the limit, but for some reason it also only loaded the last 9 hours of tweets, despite not hitting the 200 tweet limit. there doesnt seem to be a good work around. Kind of amazing that theres no way to actually read all messages on a messaging app.
