Issue is getting tracked here https://github.com/ValveSoftware/Dota2-Gameplay/issues/141 for when Jeff comes back.
lock files should be per user.
Don't think this is linux specific, what you are probably seeing is server side io congestion.
what do you mean crashes? It crashes, but it is still running in the background? Is there anything in /tmp/dumps or dmesg?
if you just type 'dmesg' in a terminal you should a low level system log output. One of the last ones should be about your crash, something like 'segfault at'...
the dmesg output isn't useful, apparently the i2c_hid module is having some issue and is spamming your dmesg log. The crash dumps however are. To me it looks like this...
Steam itself is only available for x86/amd64, until that changes dota2 is unlikely to get an aarch64 build. related ticket: https://github.com/ValveSoftware/steam-for-linux/issues/4061

might be related? log: https://gist.github.com/Turmfalke2/05ad2018cf114a26066f65497b00dc7c some persistent memory corruption? or a wild pointer?
The 2022-01-18 update didn't fix this, but so far it looks like none of the new old rooms are affected by this.
