desktop Desktop-only bug with the looks extension's effects

it's mainly the mosaic effect, its very jittery and unstable on desktop while it isn't on web.

Very large effect values tend to do weird things; wouldn't recommend using them. The behavior can vary based on the GPU and even, as you see, based on what browser someone is using

but it worked before 1.15 on desktop, why is it an issue now?

Guessing this is a wayland issue. Try starting the app with

XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 turbowarp-desktop

Does that fix it?

it does yeah. why is it fine on x11 but not on wayland? feels like such a tiny thing to break lol.

i ran several testes via XDG_SESSION_TYPE=x11 turbowarp-desktop & disown, yes x11 fixes the fisheye exploit.
