ouch, python3.7 works now, but travis has trouble with pypy now: https://github.com/travis-ci/travis-ci/issues/9452#issuecomment-438230628

I assume travis-ci have been dropped a few years ago and replaced by GH actions. Also Py3.7 is supported. So I dont see, that this PR is of any use now. Therefore closing.
