XML format support missing in update()

Update function sends updates to to templates always in JSON format only. A support for XML formatted updates must be added.

The forge is back up, I also manually activated your account. We tested and we are not able to reproduce your problem. Would you be able to give instructions to reproduce it from a fresh 1.0.8 installation?
